Liverpool rummy
Liverpool Rummy is played by many players, with many rounds. This card game is similar to on of the varieties of rummy that includes features like buying and going out. The game is played with the ratio of one deck of standard 52-card decks for every two players. The grading from low-to-high is A-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-J-Q-K-A.
The dealer deals a ten-card hand to each player. After all the players’ hands have been dealt, a new card is placed face-up in a center, called as the discard pile. The rest of the pack is known as the deck. The player to the dealer’s immediate left plays first.
On every turn, a player draws either the card of the discard pile or one card from the deck and discards one card from their hand onto the discard pile. The next player can draw the discarded card or from the deck. Play carries on, in alternating turns, until one player goes out, or has no cards left in their hand. A score-keeper will tally and record the points. All of the cards are shuffled and the next round of play begins.
The aim of Liverpool rummy is to develop one’s score by laying down to decrease the number of cards in hand, and ultimately going out before other players. At the conclusion of each round when a player goes out, the rest of the players sum up their scores by counting up the value of the cards remaining in their hands. The winner is the one who gets the lowest point total at the end of final round.
