Rummy 500

Just like other card games, Rummy 500 involves strategies. In Rummy 500, different stages of the game require different strategies. For instance, the early part of the game requires different moves than the closing stages, but what is important is to be fully focused on the game.

This is necessary in order to notice the cards your opponent will either place on or pick from the discard pile. One common strategy most people may not be aware of is attention. You’ll almost certainly win a Rummy 500 game by noticing every move made by your opponent in addition to learning a handful of the game’s helpful tips. Here are some of the strategies and tips to consider when playing the interesting Rummy 500.

Find ways to discard your high point cards when in a situation where your opponent has a few cards in the hands. High point cards include Aces, Jacks, Kings, Tens and Queens. Unlike others, having these cards with high points could count against you when your opponent ends the game.

Avoid a scenario where you’ll be forced to discard 2 high point cards of the same type in a row as it could enable your opponent to score many points. For instance, don’t discard a King if the other King is already in the discard pile.

Collect high scoring cards early on. By so doing, your opponents have slimmer chances of using those cards to begin high scoring sequences against you.

Always remember to be focused. Take note of all played cards as well as discarded cards. If your opponent uses high point cards in a sequence, do the same with yours as there may be the chance to do so. However, try as much as possible not to be lured by your opponent.

In the process of gaming, gambling could be an advantage. Consider taking a stack of discarded cards in the early part of the game, but act otherwise when a player is about to go out.
