Rummy cube rule

Rummycube or Rummy-O or rummykub is a tile-based game. It is similar to Turkis Rummikub with respect to game play and rules. The main module is a collection of 106 tiles, consisting of 104 number tiles and two joker tiles. The number tiles have values from one to thirteen, in four colors (black, yellow, blue and red). Every Player has a stand to store tiles, without disclosing them to the other players.

Tiles are stored in a bag or placed face-down on a table for selection. Every player selects one tile from a pool to decide who starts first. The player with the highest number begins, with play continuing in a clockwise direction. Each player collects 14 random tiles from the pool and positions them on their racks.

The first player has to play a set with a value of minimum 30 points. Other player’s tiles may not be used to build the first 30 or more. The first move of a player is known as the initial meld. The previously played tiles cannot be used to build the initial meld. If the initial meld cannot be built, the player picks up one tile and inserts it to his rack. The next player then proceeds. Frequently, players will gather as many as 20 tiles before achieving their initial meld, however in the initial period of the game.

All tiles in play must be arranged in sets and runs. Game proceeds until either a player has used all of the tiles in the rack. At that point, they should call out Rummikub, and are proclaimed the winner.
